Major tourist activity today was our visit to Craigdarroch Castle.
After several coffees and some breakfast we hit the road for “The Castle”

Afterwards we head over to Spinnakers for lunch. I have the PLOUGHMANS LUNCH – Four Quarters salami, house back bacon, smoked cheddar, blue cheese, hard boiled egg, grainy mustard, chutney, house pickles, tomato, olives, sourdough baguette and a MITCHELL’S EXTRA SPECIAL BITTER. Brewed in honor of John Mitchell, Spinnakers original brewer & publican. This beer is a classic English style Extra Special Bitter, brewed with English Marris Otter pale and specialty malts, balanced with earthy old-world hop varietals. Raise a toast to the Grandfather of BC craft beer.
The restaurant is right on the harbour front in downtown Victoria. Did I mention that there were boats?
