We headed over and counted in excess of 10 eagles, a number of turkey vultures and half a dozen pelicans, all <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/big_dadoo\/4681102024\/\">fighting over some fish remains<\/a> on the shore.<\/p>\n<p>The funny part was that as we approached the eagles moved off to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/big_dadoo\/4680473871\/\">perch in near by trees <\/a>and while they watched the pelicans returned and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/big_dadoo\/4680483627\/\">one of them made off with the fish<\/a>! <\/p>\n<p>However, all of this action provided a great opportunity to get some good shots of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/big_dadoo\/4681118090\/\">eagles <\/a>and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/big_dadoo\/4680489323\/\">pelicans<\/a>. The sun was out and the afternoon was warm as we <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/big_dadoo\/4680487867\/\">floated over a sand bar<\/a> before heading for home. Our little boat <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/big_dadoo\/4680493813\/\">isn&#8217;t quite like this one<\/a>, but it&#8217;s taken us on some great adventures on the lake.
