Today, it\u2019s the <a href=\"https:\/\/flyingotter.ca\/\">Flying Oyster Grill.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/flyingotter.ca\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/staging\/3703\/wp-content\/img_9146-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5437\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_9146-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_9146-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_9146-113x150.jpg 113w, https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_9146-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_9146.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s a very nice place right on the harbour in downtown Victoria and they have lots of GF <a href=\"https:\/\/www.findmeglutenfree.com\/biz\/flying-otter-grill\/5963378500173824\">GF options<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our next planned stop is the Malahat Skywalk which is about 45 minutes away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"909\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/staging\/3703\/wp-content\/IMG_0466-909x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5445\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0466-909x1024.jpeg 909w, https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0466-266x300.jpeg 266w, https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0466-133x150.jpeg 133w, https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0466-768x865.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0466.jpeg 934w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 909px) 100vw, 909px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> I check their website and the last tickets sold are at 3pm. We won\u2019t make it in time, we\u2019ve spent too much time walking around, parking the car and having lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, item number four on the list is to take a 1\/2hr small ferry ride from Mill Bay, which is near the Malahat Skywalk, to Brentwood Bay which is fairly close to Gail\u2019s condo. So, I drive for about 45 minutes and get into the lineup for the ferry. The ferry is just coming in but it only takes 10 cars at a time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"460\" height=\"269\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/staging\/3703\/wp-content\/IMG_0467.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5447\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0467.jpeg 460w, https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0467-300x175.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0467-150x88.jpeg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 460px) 100vw, 460px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re way more than number 10 in line. Shirley talks to the people ahead of us and determined that the wait will be way too long. So, no fun ferry ride as we pull out of line and drive back the way we came. I really dislike backtracking and was looking forward to the ferry adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back at the ranch it\u2019s dinner, some TV and off to bed. A lot of driving today.
