Over the years it has produced a lot of apples and this year has been no exception. In fact it&#8217;s probably been a bumper crop this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Picking has taken four half days and produced many 10lb bags that we&#8217;ve (Shirley) have given away. There were still some apples on the tree but I&#8217;d had enough with picking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, we went to the lake for 4 days and before leaving I&#8217;d cleaned up the yard and there were no apples on the ground. We came home to this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"file:\/\/\/private\/var\/mobile\/Containers\/Data\/Application\/14AFC68C-8E1E-4C1D-8152-6A0F513954F6\/tmp\/org.automattic.MediaImageServiceSymlinks\/thumbnail-c7e0f6f0-9362-45da-8597-00d9b1fc0658-1365x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image--876376777\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sadly, once the apples hit the ground they are bruised and not so nice or, half eaten by wasps and rabbits or just dissolved into mush. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With renewed energy I picked another 10 bags today. There are still a few (I hope it&#8217;s just a few, they are good at hiding) in really hard to get at places. But, I&#8217;m done.
