I&#8217;ll typically stop dead in my tracks and re-read the section several times and ponder the impact I&#8217;m feeling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This can happen when I&#8217;m reading a book, a devotion, or more frequently when I&#8217;m reading a Bible passage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, while reading Psalm 147 I got to the end of verse 7, the last few words &#8220;&#8230; for You are good to me.&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yesterday and to a lesser extent this morning I&#8217;ve been in a bit of a funk. When I read this and reflected on how good God has been to me over the years it really lifted me up and raised my spirits.
