{"id":140,"date":"2006-08-27T18:13:40","date_gmt":"2006-08-28T00:13:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/?p=140"},"modified":"2006-08-29T11:17:05","modified_gmt":"2006-08-29T17:17:05","slug":"busy-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/2006\/08\/27\/busy-weekend\/","title":{"rendered":"Busy Weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This weekend was a little busier that most, and we had a great time.<\/p>\n<p>Friday night was a wedding with friends, then Saturday morning we had a birthday brunch with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/big_dadoo\/226583693\/\">Mandi<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Saturday after noon was a funeral for the parents of friends who were tragically killed in a car accident. The funeral was a wonderful celebration of their lives and the impact and legacy they have left on all their family and friends. They will be missed. <\/p>\n<p>Afterwards we drove to the lake for a visit with my sister Gail, husband Gord, their son Craig (Happy 21st) and girlfriend Kim. They treated us to several wonderful meals,and good conversation. Thanks, we love you.<\/p>\n<p>While we were at the lake we got a closer look at the pirate ship and it&#8217;s crew that is marauding around the bay. Still no pictures, but more on that later.<\/p>\n<p>In one hour we will be at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bigdadoo.com\/blog\/?p=136\">Cirque du Soleil<\/a> and we&#8217;re looking forward to that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This weekend was a little busier that most, and we had a great time.
